Express / Samples
Useful to discuss for samples and low-volume urgent consignments; check dimensional weight.
Shipping a plastic bottle order starts with accurate packing data: units per carton, carton dimensions, gross and net weight, packaging style, model/color counts and destination. XUYI can review these details with buyers and coordinate agreed transport arrangements. Freight price, Incoterms, transit time and delivery responsibilities depend on the actual order.

Shipping arrangements depend on the order and destination
A wholesale purchase order needs more than bottle photographs. Ask for the exact SKU and color breakdown, individual package type, pieces per master carton, outer carton length, width and height, gross weight, net weight and total carton count. Large water jugs and bottles with handles may require different carton density or protective packing than compact sports bottles.
Freight options are not interchangeable. Courier/express may be considered for samples, air freight for smaller urgent orders, and sea freight for larger planned shipments. The commercially suitable option depends on packed volume, chargeable weight, destination, customs obligations and your delivery deadline.
Terms such as EXW, FOB, FCA, CIF, DAP or DDP allocate responsibilities differently. Do not assume a supplier quote includes duties, destination taxes, customs clearance or final-mile delivery unless that scope is written into the order and appropriate for the shipment. Shipment tracking and document availability are subject to the selected carrier and agreed service.
Compare freight modes against packed size and urgency, not unsupported guaranteed days.
| Mode | Typical consideration | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Courier / express | Often practical for samples or limited trial quantity | Dimensional-weight charge, duties, restrictions and tracking |
| Air freight | Potential option for urgent commercial quantities | Airport handling, chargeable weight, clearance and final delivery |
| Sea freight (LCL) | Useful when cartons do not fill a container | Consolidation, local fees, packing strength and destination port |
| Sea freight (FCL) | Consider for larger regular volumes | Load plan, container suitability, handling and port charges |
| Forwarder arranged by buyer | Buyer controls carrier and certain routing choices | Named handover place, booking details and required paperwork |
The comparison is general trade education. XUYI has not promised every mode, route, carrier, transit time or DDP service; confirm booking and responsibility for your specific destination.
A clear paperwork and handover sequence helps reduce last-minute packing and freight changes.
Confirm model numbers, color mix, unit packaging, inner pack, carton count and any special labels.
Reconfirm outer carton dimensions, gross/net weight and total pieces against the actual pack.
Agree delivery destination, buyer/forwarder responsibility, transport mode and Incoterms in writing.
Reconcile commercial invoice, packing list and required product/customs documents against the contract.
Check handling protection, carton codes, destination marks and any agreed retailer/warehouse labels.
Provide agreed shipment information, carrier documents and follow-up contacts as available under the booking.
What procurement teams need to know about cartons, carriers, documentation and landed cost.
International shipping arrangements can be reviewed for the destination and selected order. The route, carrier, responsible party, charges and any restrictions must be confirmed before booking.
Typically a commercial invoice and packing list are discussed, with transport documents and other declarations determined by the carrier, Incoterms, destination and product. Confirm the exact list per order.
Trade terms are discussed case by case; listing a term is not a promise it is offered. Confirm the Incoterm, named place, duties, clearance and delivery scope in the quotation.
You need packed carton measurements, gross weight, total cartons, and the freight mode. Carriers may use chargeable or volumetric weight, so the bottle's empty weight alone is insufficient.
Packaging options depend on the actual SKU, required artwork, quantity and sourcing feasibility. Send dielines, barcodes and shelf/warehouse requirements for review.
A combined order may be discussed, but model/color quantities, production readiness, customs classification, packing and shipping costs need separate confirmation.
There is no universal verified shipping duration. Timing varies by destination, mode, season, carrier schedules and customs processing. Request a route-specific estimate after carton details are confirmed.
Send your model quantities, destination, desired packing and preferred handover terms. Actual carton measurements and freight arrangements should be confirmed before final commercial commitment.
